Need Help

Depending on make and model most trailers do have battery connect switch but if your doesn't I would definitely start at the battery and work my way back. what happens when you plug into your tow vehicle.

Start at the battery and check your ground wire where It attached to the frame. Remove and clean before replacing. From there just start following the power from the battery with your volt meter or a 12 volt test light (make sure light/meter has a good ground as well)

Sounds like your converter is working. You get 12 volt when plugged into shore power. No 12 volt from battery power.

After you've checked the main fuses (30 amp), in the fuse panel, and you're sure they are good, look for one of these. It, or, they (could be more than one if you have a slide out) will be mounted up under the trailer frame, somewhere near the connection of cable coming from positive side of battery.

Could also be a bad connection where positive battery cable connects to the trailer. Could be bad connection on negative battery cable to trailer.

I have never installed a battery disconnect and almost positive it did not come with one preinstalled. If it has one I have never seen it.
