I am going to order new tires tomorrow for my new to me 37' travel trailer weight sticker says 7200 empty. I have ran the power king towmax on several trailers for a couple years with out problems and they make a E rated tire. But I just want to make sure there is not something else I should look at. When I called the tire place yesterday of course they tried to push the carlisle RH tires but everything I have always read on carlisle is negative. I also have read about using LT tires but don't see anything in my size.

What you suggest and why?
Thanks in advance.
The Power King Towmax now has a new tire with improved heat resistance called the STR. All the negatives you read about Carlisle Tires ARE BASED ON THE OLD TIRES. They now have a new tire called the Radial Trail RH. It also has improved heat resistance. BOTH HAVE A NEW NYLON CAP LIKE THE MAXXIS TIRES. Also, Westlake has also added a Nylon cap to their ST trailer tires.
I am currently running 4 Carlisle RH tires on my trailer. I had them installed in Orlando and am now up in Vermont with no issues. I will be heading back out west an additional 2,000 miles.
I am just giving you options - you decide. You will not get any unbiased views on tires on this forum.....
Good luck!
