If you're still shopping go to www.4wheelparts.com and key in your 2002 Chevrolet Duramax and it will narrow the exact shocks for front and rear. It will also ask for stock height or # of inch lift, if any.
All brands are on there; Rancho, Bilstein 5100s and 4600s, ProComp, Skyjacker, FabTech.
I replaced my Rancho shocks with Bilstein 5100s. I purchased from their site with no shipping cost. I put them on myself.
Rancho shock I pushed them down and they stayed down. I am a daily driver.
