- laknoxNomadThanks for the info, guys. What, if any, difference is there between the 5100 and 4600? This is a 99% stock '02 4x4. Tires are 265 instead of 245.

Some will claim no difference based on what they read...
Having owned both on stock height 2500HDs. The 4600s felt firmer to me and would be my choice for a dedicated TV.
The 5100s I have on my current truck feel a bit softer and are probably a better choice for a daily driver. Each tows well and are way better than what your currently riding on. - laknoxNomad

Not a daily driver, but gets driven =not= towing 95% of the time it's driven. :-)
I'll be shopping in the next couple weeks. Anyone got a place with consistently good prices?
Thanks again, y'all.
Lyle - Cameo_PhilExplorerI recommend the Shockwarehouse.com
- GeoBoyExplorerBilstein 4600's.
- laknoxNomadOK. After checking, I'm going to go with the 5100's. Just to be sure, p/n for the front is 24-186735 and rear is 24-186742. '02 Sierra 2500HD 4x4 D'max, stock suspension/height.
Does any place do package pricing?

I personally can't say if the 4600 or 5100 feels different on a stock truck. I can tell you for a fact Bilstein says the shocks are identical but the 5100 can be used on trucks with up to a 2" lift. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

I am curious why you are going with the 5100's on a stock truck? - transferredExplorerHave 5100s on my wife's GM since it was brand new- they are a very good shock.
- nofoolinExplorerYou may want to update to the rear hydraulic cab mounts which became standard equipment somewhere around 2007, or 2008. I put them on my 2003 and saw a definite improvement in ride, especially over expansion joints... I already had put the Bilsteins in a couple of years previous. They were a nice upgrade also.
