General Rv in Ohio..
I had a check list on buying a used trailer... they were to do before I receiveing it..
main thing was bearing and brakes. checked... a few days after bring trailer home.. I notice my check list was checks but little things were NOT done.
so I pulled the wheels and 3 of the 4 brakes were destroyed...
after speaking to service manager.. the test on brakes is the tow vehicle used a controller and if trailer slows there tow vehicle .. the brakes work.. they do not check bearings....
I gave them 2 choices... replace all brakes in 4 days or return my money..as I paid cash.
all 4 brakes and there assemblies were replace in 3 days. and I was refunded 200 dollars because other things on my pre sale check list was not done.
so that being said. I think I did OK,, but I was ready... and willing to return trailer to them.. and restart my search for a trailer.
fyi, Wife demanded we get a Front Kitchen unit .. not easy to find used. and I will never own another aluminum bodied trailer.. this one is the fiberglass looking type.
so I was happy I did not need to restart the search.
and YES General RV will Pressure.. but I am a retired auto mechanic.. as I can not be pressured.. seen it for 43 years..
after a little back and forth on the final price... I gave them a number.. and said that is all I will pay.. salesman went to manager and retuned and ask for 600 more.. I said goodbye... and walked out.. manager ran up to my truck and asked if I would return to his office. I got it for my price.. and I am sure they made money anyway.
even after them eating the price of the brakes.
