Further to the above, Jayco has a BAL frame instead of Lippert. Having been through what we have with frames, I would choose any TT with a BAL frame over one that doesn't (almost all are Lippert). The BAL frame does not have any welding, unlike a Lippert frame, and is a really nice frame. If the Freedom Express happens to have the frame type that has I-beams made from 3 pieces of sheet steel welded together, I'd avoid that. Nigher CCC is a good thing. The Jayflight CCC at 2375 lbs isn't too bad, if it was around 1500 I'd say find higher.
DW has a coworker that bought a Freedom Express and had nothing but trouble with it but we used to have a Coachmen Catalina that was okay. I'd get one with fiberglass exterior and is available as an option on the Jay Flight, or consider the Whitehawk line. Jayco has a 2 year warranty. Jay Flight has an optional thermal package that might be worthwhile. Jayco now has something called "Sway Command Tow Control Technology".
I'd say the Jayco is a better choice. Except for floor plans and cost, their Whitehawk line is nice.
