This has been a good reminder thread. We have a couple numbers that work for us when faced with precipitous temperature drops.
1. 22F degrees. Time to drain the unheated tanks dry and use minus 50F RV antifreeze to flush the toilet. No showers. No spigots. Drinking water in smaller separate containers stored in the warmer living area or with the cupboard where stored door ajar. The 2nd and 3rd column from the right are the choices for winter:

2. 07F degrees. Time to fold our tent and head for a warmer environment, whatever that entails. There is no pleasure at all in trying to stay warm at that temp in a truck camper unless you are a masochist and just want to be cool and see how much you can stand and for how long. Come the Armageddon i guess you could call this a rehearsal.
How did we get to these two numbers? There is nothing like finding the edge, over and over again and remembering where that edge actually was.
