We often use our RV as a stay-cation site. We spend the day or even overnight kind of a home away from home even though it's not that far from us. This way stuff gets used instead of just sitting there. I've used it as a remote office when I needed quiet or needed to spread out paperwork. My DW has used it for crafting or wrapping gifts. It's great because you can leave stuff out unlike at home where you may need to put stuff away each night so the dinning table is free.
Don't forget 3 day weekends or add a vacation day or two to have some 4 day weekends throughout the year.
Not vacation time and in AZ you don't try to go the mountains on a long weekend.
