I understand where the OP is coming from. We had to take a 13 year break from camping while our business had a customer that kept us busy during the summer months. I remember watching that first camp fire back and thinking just how much I had missed it.
I like the idea of a seasonal site but as a fellow boondocker I know that being in a campground just isn't the same.
Sometimes you just have to work with what you have.
