Yeah, thanks guys. I too agree I'm ready for another truck. Unfortunately, I still have a year to pay on my wife's Explorer and my daughter just started college this year (6 years at least!), with my son on the way to college in three more, soooo.....new truck not in the cards at the moment. When the time comes, it's likely going to be a 350/3500 series, and it might be the last one I buy. For now, I just gotta bite the bullet. Just gets tiresome after a while.
The list so far looks something like this:
- spark plugs (self)
- multifunction switch on steering column (self)
- front springs and shocks (self)
- fuel control module (self)
- drive shaft and carrier bearing (dealer)
- Passenger exhaust mani. (dealer)
- trans cooler, valve body, torque converter (dealer)
- radiator and bypass valve (dealer)
Not sure if I missed anything or not. This doesn't include the failed OEM hitch reciever or brakes, tires, filters, etc. Pretty impressive!
