I own a MC dually and love it. I will always own a dually as long as I tow a large fifth wheel because they are so nice and stable. One of the reasons I bought this truck rather than the CC long box is that I wanted it to fit in my garage. IIRC it is 248” long and is exactly the same length as my 2003 F350 SC 4x4 dually with the 8’ box was.
One of the great things about a dually is that you can run much lower pressure in the rear tires which helps with the ride. You may notice a bit of a difference from your current truck in ride quality but I don’t think it will be significant.
