The 3500 SRW is closer to the 2500 truck in rear suspension capacity and the rest of the truck. Front axle are the same. So yeah a one ton DRW has way more in the bed load capacity than the 2500/3500 srw trucks.
The newer 3500 SRW Rams have 7000 RAWR good for around 3500-3700 lb load in the bed....all depending on scaled axle weights.
The 3500 DRW has a 9750 RAWR and good for 6k+ lb load in the bed....all of course depending on scaled axle weights.
A RAWR is the lessor of the tires/wheels rear spring pack and the axle.
DRW Ride quality ?? Butz kicker if you live rural with lots of county roads.
