Maybe, idk, towed a lot of stuff with a lot of trucks, didn't track their gear ratios for future interwebs discussions. But I'm right, unless the laws of physics aren't working right and mechanical design has been all wrong since the first caveman used a bigger lever to move a bigger rock with less effort, lol.
You are selling me on what I already know though. I like the Ram Cummins trucks and when I get a new one, it will 1000% be with 3.42s because I know it will pull whatever I need it to, while giving lower overall rpms while running bobtail.
