My 3:73 and Aisin do very well for me towing our 15,000 lb Montana at 70 mph and do an average of 10.2 mpg in combined hill/flatland towing. I don't know what it would get empty because it's never been out on a trip without the camper. It did around 14 in town the only time I ever checked it and it was new. Since it's 4 years old and only has 19k miles on it I guess you could say it's a dedicated tow vehicle. I have never had a problem driving it in town or parking it but my daily driver is a Honda so it is easier to park. I think you made a good choice.
