Monkey started this thread thinking he would stick with the 2500HD, and pretty much feel the same way. We can never have too much truck ... was wondering about the brakes, but also the frame and axle are quite different too.
Anyone towing, probably can make a change depending on the TT or 5'er, but TC guys should always come down on the HD side of hauling. I've always advocated for the 2500HD / 250 trucks ... was simply hoping to save a little fuel if the engineering warrants it. But, the design boys haven't changed my mind. guess I'll either cough up the bigger bucks for a 2500HD, or put those dollars into some repairs and upgrading int he old version ... will wait on the January release and see if the Double Cab comes in the 2500HD.
