Anyway, just saying that from what I am seeing the 1500's are being priced well into the HD range.
On Chevy/GM website:
1500, with 2009 LBS payload = MSRP $28,040
2500HD, with 4212 LBS payload = MSRP $34,750
3500
HD, with (gulp)
7222 LBS payload = MSRP $37,222
Roughly $6000 difference between the 1500 and 2500HD is 21.4% difference (quite large?); difference between 1500 and the 3500 is 28.1%; the most notable is difference between 2500HD and 3500 =
6.8%In my mind, it would be a no-brainer to buy a 2500HD over the anemic 1500 with lousy payload! And, while you're at it, spend a few pennies more, and get the 3500 (where you could theoretically, load your entire stick-and-brick house on the bed...almost!
