New 2013 Lance 1172
I would like to thank the numerous RV.net members who have offered their opinions and help this past year in answering my numerous questions about a new truck camper as it was well worth it. This past week we traded in our Pinnacle and are glad to report we are back in a truck camper again. While the 5er did what it was required to do (provide a long term living solution for my family so they could be near family during a recent deployment to Afghanistan) we are SO glad to be back in a Truck Camper. And not just any truck camper but a new 2013 Lance 1172!
We only recently acquired our new Lance so I can't report a lot in it yet but the last couple of days have been very enjoyable as we travel to my new duty assignment which is taking us from CA to VA. While there have been the expected minor issues with the unit overall we are thrilled with it. The side entrance, dry bath and especially the rear recliners are great. Once we finish with this journey across the country I'll report more on the unit and detail more about its pros & cons. Anyway...I just wanted to thank everyone who offered advice and opinions to get us where we are as well as let others know that there is a Lance 1172 owner available to answer questions!
