I have a 2015 Silverado 3500 SRW 4x4 Duramax on order, should be here in about three weeks. I will need to get my hitch installed as soon as it comes in as we have a trip planned at the end of Aug. I won't have much time to put many miles on it prior to towing. What did your dealer tell you concerning the break-in period prior to towing?
I would like to tell to check the rear end fluid. It could be low about one quart. It is your truck so I will just suggest doing this because our 05 needed one qt to bring it to the proper level of 4 quarts. I asked the dealer to check it and it was written down as doing so. It didn't happen so I towed home from Az thinking it was done. I am not thinking it was bad because it was a cool tow. Just sayin
