I replaced my old Onan 2500 with the new one.
I think the addition of the propane was an after thought.
Yep, the dip stick is a pain in the butt.
The exhaust exits caddy corner from where the original one did
and the wiring harness is different and takes an harness adapter
that Cummins/Onan offers for about $28.
I'm pretty sure the generator was made in China and is some cheap knock off
disguised to look like the original Cummins/Onan 2500.
It does start and run just fine. The RPMs only take a small dip when I fire up the AC.
I hope this one lasts longer than the 200 hours that were on the original generator when the stator and armature puked.
