If you get the truck properly equipped you should be under on the truck's specifications. Just think about stability, but given you were already towing it with a SRW I would expect you'd be fine.

SRW 1-tons currently available can handle trailers that would've been FAR too much for SRW 1-tons of just a handful of years ago.
