I personally think you need to revisit the scales. Something just doesn't add up. We have a 2012 36RL and our weight totally empty is 14000 Lbs per the shipping info from Redwood. So I must assumed that you are traveling with an empty 5er to have those weights, because just about everyone on the RW Forum with a 36RL is running 3500 to 4000 Lbs of pin. I will admit that we travel heavy, but we travel long term, like for the next 18 to 20 months the RW is home. When I went across the CAT Scales we were carrying 4000 Lbs of Pin. What ever, it's your Rig and only you can decide what's right for you.
