What do you tow that only nets you 5-6 mpg? My worst so far with a 37' 15,500 lb toy hauler that is about as aerodynamic as a sail boat is 8.5 mpg at >70 mph. I even seem to do about the same at slightly lower speeds in the mountains. I'm guessing you are towing a pretty significant load in some rough conditions.
LOL, but you wouldn't believe some of the huge loads he pulls around with his SRW F-350. Think he mentioned once moving some 30,000 pounds of hay on a goose neck trailer. 4x4ord doesn't mess around.
