New 8k BTU Coleman Polar Cub

Okay I have figured out the problem, my model # is 47203A876 which is the 13k BTU Unit. I specifically ordered the 9k BTU unit which is the 47201A876. The crazy thing is my Honda eu2000 generator starts up the unit and runs it and works great when plugged into a regular Outlet in my garage. I guess it could be causing damage everytime I turn it on, even when plugged into an extension chord. I am pretty bummed right now.
Any suggestions on what to do are appreciated. Could Just get a hard start capacitor and be okay?

That mach 8 13k has a start capacitor already, that's lucky the Honda starts it , it draws 15.3 amps and 1913 watts at desert conditions acording to the data sheet
The 9200 mach 8 cub draws 11.7 amps and runs at 1550 watts at desert conditions, more likely to be Honda compatable
I wish I kept a "d" series cub like you had on you EC camper off one of my old campers before I sold it, they drew 8.9 amps and ran at 1260 watts desert conds. Do you still have the old camper, the ceiling units would interchange
If you don't mind an extra 5 inches in height coleman makes a mach 1 power saver that draws 9.5 amps and 1260 watts and is 11000 btus

They also make a mach 3 power saver that draws 10 amps and 1320 watts and is a 13500btu unit
Sucks that you didn't get what you wanted when you ordered the new camper, Id talk to the Dealer and Artic Fox

They (dealer/MFG) did not deliver what you ordered. They should either replace it with what you ordered (their screw up) or give you a Honda eu2000i companion to mate up with your existing 2000 so that you can run the AC (and anything else you want at the same time).... :-)
