camper is at my house, but I don't keep it plugged in all the time. I have to plug it into a 10 guage cord and then into a 20 amp gfi..... I figured it was just easier to completely unplug the battery from the camper so that there is no draw on it and charge it with its own charger... plus im not really sure how long to keep it plugged into shore power for in order to charge it.. atleast with a charger($40.00)it will tell me when charged.. then before I go camping I will throw the charger back on the battery a day before we leave to fully charge it.. im still very new at this.. so maybe Im looking and doing this wrong? Its just easier to plug in a charger when needed then plugging in the camper. I do have a question, how do I knoew if my new 2013 Ram has a charging cord hooked up to the 7 pin tow?
