I hear you on the paid for rig. The tough part of moving from SUV combo to a fiver is that you will need both truck and trailer at the same time. I sucked it up and purchased the crew cab truck first. I made the interior space sacrifice and towed my TT with a dually pick up for a few years before getting my 5'er. Needing/wanting/buying a fiver and truck at the same time can be a tough pill to swallow.
