I have read of a few putting the crates inside the 5'er but personally I would not do it.
My main concern is not the bouncy ride or the poor/weak crash structure/performance of the RV. But the 5'er is not climate controlled while travelling. It can get very hot or cold in the rig while traveling. Again I would never do it.
