Ok.. before I do, have you tried google?
Yes -- get mostly older trucks as not too many 2015 out there yet. But, looked at the older 6.0L and get some things that probably don't apply -- like old sensors, plugged filter, bend lines, etc.
When I talked to the mechanic, he said he checked sensors, bend line, etc. He seems to have touched all the bases, pretty much. So, a puzzle for sure.
I'm inclined to go with the bad gas idea - and it might have contaminated another tank as well, because I usually fill with about a third tank remaining.
Plugged filter or bend line makes little sense, as once it starts it runs great -- and all the "meters" say it's running great. So, am hoping it clears itself out. The dealer has had it two days, and he's tried numerous times - always starts right up, and all running systems check out ...
Otherwise - only thing I can think is a 'cold contact' that shrinks and does not fire exactly right in cold wet weather. It's very intermittent ... so that kinda makes a little sense, as does the bad gas thought. So, he's looking once more - cold - first thing in the AM, and will pick it up and head out again. See what happens on the road.
