Well one for my 2004 Ram costs $804 just for the gate! By time you add in the other parts that may be needed, along with paint and labor it sky rocks up to over $2,800 :E So you 2013 gate would more likely end up costing you around $5,000.

Go back 10 years and predict to your buddies that a pickup tailgate could cost $5000 in 2014 and they will have you declared insane.
