I leave my tires pumped to 80 psi in the back and as a rule I am very happy with the way my 1 ton rides, however, there has been the odd time while towing that the ride is horrible. I have had to reposition the load on my gooseneck to smooth out the ride. Maybe the tongue weight of your trailer is not enough.
