Not disagreeing. Just saying there is a limit and should be careful. As I originally pointed out, one of my friends almost lost his truck due to low tire pressure on a wet road. I would say probably also depends on type tire and tread. The tire tread is designed to move water out from under the tire, to low a pressure and it can't move the water and can hydroplane...
Guess being a designer I have to analyze things to much:)
And with that I will bow out and keep my pressure at what the truck/tires is rated for.
