Anyone have the new Ford 7.3 gas with 3.55 axle ratio? If so does it work out for a 2500# TC?

Huh?Umm yeah, I mean, it’s got more than enough snort to haul around a TC.

I don’t but if it has the 10 speed transmission my guess is it would be fine even on mountains if it is rated for enough payload. Ford would probably have no advantage in producing a combination that can’t haul 2500. So, I’d look to see what payload it’s rated for.

Just fyi, my 4.30s kill MPG over 65. Yes, 4.30s are pretty high, but still, they have a huge impact even on cruise control. The RPMS are much higher. In case you didn’t notice, I have 6.4 diesel.

Single cab is OK for single person, but most of us travel with companions.
Supercab not only provides space for pets, but for water, heavy tools that you don't want to load in the rear overhang.

If I bought a new truck this would be the one.
3500 4-wd, dually, 3.73 gears with the 6.6 gas.
I'd put my camper on it and never take it off.

I'd keep my current 2500 so I'd have a normal everyday pickup to drive.

With my current truck and camper I set my cruise at 72 mph.
It spends most of its time in 5th gear except on the hills.

Me too ... that's why I cruise our MH at 58-60 MPH and at ~2200 RPM using it's 4:56 differential behind a 6.8L V10 gasser!

Same here...460 with 4:10s cruising about the same 2000-2100 rpms at 58-60mph...

I lucked out and found a 2021 F250 with the 7.3 gas engine,10 speed, 3.55 rear end. It got extremely good gas mileage coming home from 100 miles away. It's almost like it was making gas. It just does not seem like it will have a problem hauling my Laredo.

Drives me nuts! Every revolution of that engine is causing wear and tear and knowing I could be driving an engine that never needs to turn over 2000 rpm is a clincher for me.
