Really sorry for your bad experience. After RVing for 49 years, with a variety of travel trailers, 5th wheels, A, B, and C's and now B+. I can tell you they are not without their problems. But the Phaeton was the only one we bought new and we did buy a warranty (not from the dealer). Our factory (Tiffin) took care of any/all problems for many years and the warranty took care of others.
The one I have now is a B+ and I bought it when it was a year old with 8000 miles on her. No problems with the coach or Ford Transit, but on this first big trip, I have replaced the refrigerator and Microwave/convection. Fortunately those aren't big ticket items. I'm still happy with the coach. The firefly system would not connect to mu phone, so I paid a visit to their business in Middlebury, Indiana, where a very nice tech got it all working for me for free. He just had to update the firmware. So now I'm holding my breath!
I do hope you get some help with your unit. It's no fun to spend that kind of money and have nothing useable.
