New Forest River/Coachman Apex 279RLSS

Bought a new Apex Ulta Light TT at the local RV show yesterday. Actually did the deal at the show, but went for one at the dealer which had a different fabric on the furniture. Dealer is 15 minutes from my house. Got a pretty good deal and added some convenience options.

Had a Crossroads Slingshot for about 5 trouble free years, but it did not have a slide out. This model Apex has a large slide out that incorporates sofa and large dinette...provides nice floor space for the two of us and 3 small dogs.

Scheduling the PDI for the next week or so...then a shakedown trip to check it out in real time.

I welcome feedback on any experience with this TT or brand.

    Congratulations on your new Apex purchase. My DW and I picked up our new Apex 279 RLSS about six weeks ago. We towed it home and have not moved it since that day. Very cold here in Pennsylvania. Can't wait for spring. Hope you have many trouble free years with your new TT.

    Wow, I could be writing this same post in a week or two. Our show starts Thursday this week and the Apex 279RLSS is definitely one of the ones we are looking at. I'm trying to get some feel as to what the prices are on the 'normal' market, then see what kind of discount can be had at the show.

    Our other choice is a Kodiak 269RLS. Both have a very similar floorplan.
