My thought as well. 12V gets me very little time on my batteries without solar or something. I don't know that solar could keep up with it with any reasonable size.
I am trying to be balanced in what I do to this camper knowing that we will never recoup the cost of putting too much into it. But, if it is worth it (and I'm not convinced it is), than now is the time to go down the road.
