New Gears.... now what???
I posted another thread on swapping my 3.23 gears for 4.10 on my RWD 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3L and 4 speed auto (4L60e). I took the truck in this morning and picked it up about 2 hours ago...

With all due respect to the OP and all who contributed to this thread, the OP might have got a different kind of replies if he would have worded the title of the thread differently.
The real theme of his threads are: "I've got 3.23's and stock engine mgmnt. I'm going to install 4.10's and a tune. I'll get back to you on how it works".
Nothing wrong with his methods here, after all, it's his truck and money, but one should not be surprised when they get "answers" ( opinions ? ) when they pose a "question".
My suspicion in the case of his truck and trailer is there probably are no right or wrong answers. Only shades of gray within the intended usage.
