new GMC 1500 2x4. No one needs 4x4 anyway
Got wife 2018 GMC 1500. No one but famers,ranchers, ult. company, cops, logers, and people up in Canada need 4x4, just something saleman sell people who have good credit anyway. Waist of money.

A 2WD truck with an open rear is a 1 wheel drive.
A 2WD truck with a "posi" rear and a gas engine is better than a 2WD truck with a "posi" rear and a diesel engine in certain low traction situations. The diesel's torque breaks the rear tires loose almost instantly with a good load on.
A 4WD truck with an open rear is a 2WD.
Supercharged is a blessing to this forum. People get too serious around here sometimes.
