I do National Parks, State parks, private CG's, and boondock every now and then, there is no way I will pull my 25ft camper down a road that I mite need 4x4 to get out of, I try to take care of my stuff and make it last as long as possible, if I wan't to go down a dirt road I off load the motorcycle and do my exploring.
To each his own.
I too have a dirt bike and a RZR - but I like to "camp" away from the crowds and in the inter mountain west there are thousands of miles of forest service and BLM roads to explore - and sometimes I do need 4x4 to get to the good spots - and I also have a 25 ft TH. I am not talking about rock climbing but just a little bit of sand or mud can make a difference.
