- donkeydewExplorerwelcome back! how are you feeling ? read you had a little heart problem
- hussbussExplorerI know that when the golf cart is out of the truck bed and the TT is unhooked, if I stand on it, it leaves about 40 feet of 4 black marks. All the tires spin. 6x4 or 6x3?
- Chuck_thehammerExplorer4x4 = (2) one wheel drive axles...
unless it has a rear locker... then 1 wheel front AND 2 wheel drive rear... - BedlamModeratorA 2wd DRW with posi/limited slip is a 6x3 (in my opinion) and if you had a locker, it would be a 6x4. The OP probably bought the wife a 4x1 with an open differential (also called a one-wheeled peel). The first time she gets stuck may have his head pealed...
- hussbussExplorerHey all. I have a 6x2 one ton 4 door dually with posi diff. Does this count as a 4 wheel drive? Ha Ha. All 4 tires on the same axle. Pour man's 4 wheel drive.

Got wife 2018 GMC 1500. No one but famers, ranchers, ult. company, cops, logers, and people up in Canada need 4x4, just something saleman sell people who have good credit anyway. Waist of money.
So I guess you have bad credit then.
FYI, my Chevy is so light in the rear end I have had to put it in 4wd to back up my gravel driveway. - bikendanExplorer

Hey Supercharged.....news flash - it snows in other places besides, "up in Canada."
Used to own a Avalanche 4x2, cause I lived in California. Never needed 4x4 to tow my trailer.
Now I live in Washington State and live on a hillside.
After a couple of winters, the Avy is for sale and I now own a 4x4 F150 Ecoboost.
I just backed up a 15% grade driveway to put our trailer in its parking spot.
Couldn't do it with my 4x2 Avalanche.
