And just curious as to why people that disagree with your viewpoint are considered to be "ill-informed electric vehicle detractors"? There are differing viewpoints held by very well informed individuals, and some of those well informed individuals disagree with you.
This is where you err. I read the comments here and it seems like newer technologies are being derided. Someone brought up a flying car (what a comparison by the way) someone brought up solar panels, and other keep bringing up Tesla. So it seems the others have lost focus.
