Nice! That's a sharp looking truck. I like the slight lift and big tires too! My first truck was a 1995 F150 with dual gas tanks, 4.9 straight 6 with manual transmission. Gas was under a dollar a gallon, on payday Fridays I would fill both tanks (around 40 gallons if I remember) and still had gas to last me until the next paycheck!
Lucky boy for a first vehicle! Hope you keep that paint scheme!!!
Totally keeping it original paint scheme! It’ll match the build sheet on the glove box. Nice part is the door jambs, firewall and dash are so clean they don’t even need re-painted. Bed is going to get painted not bed liner, as well. It’s real straight as well.
But I’m a sucker for white center stripes on square body’s and 67-72s. So thinking I’ll paint it like it is now and then maybe vinyl wrap over the dark blue center stripe and maybe the cab also in white!
Think it’s a 4” lift. Rear is on blocks not springs.
35s , which is what’s on it now, with normal offset have plenty of clearance in front at full lock. Actually 37s would fit also. For now I like the 35 look and it’s “ok” at highway speeds.
With the 4.10s it’s at about 2700 rpms at 65mph. No way I’m re-gearing it though. It pulls pretty well. It’s just a toy not a Daily.
Love the older F Series too!
Nows the time to start collecting the cars I wish I had or wish I hadn’t sold!
