The cheapest extended stay rate is $940 for 30 days. That's over $11,000 for the occasional overnight stay.
If you could come and go with the RV so you're not paying for nights you're not there it might be worth it. But with a work truck and trailer, that's not a likely option.
Not sure if your job would allow for it (depending on what you're hauling), but maybe you could switch out the current cargo trailer for a toy hauler. Use the TH to transport like the current trailer and then get a one night stay and sleep in the TH.
