- brinsonExplorerMade it home today, 2844 miles later. Tom's was great to deal with and everything went smooth. The truck handles the camper very well I thought even with the high crosswinds in West Texas and New Mexico. I ended up running with 50 psi in the airbags and it seemed to work well. I may try lowering to 40 or 45 to see if the ride improves. Mileage was around 11.5 mpg running aroud 65 to 68 mph. The only problem I have seen is the tri-fold door jam nuts were loose and allowed one end to come loose. I am working with Tom's now to get some new parts in. The only thing I think needs improvement is how the tri-fold door is secured with velcro. I still comes loose on rough roads. I am going to add some type of clip to clamp the velcro closed so it doesn't pull loose. Fit and finish is very good.
- therobzillaExplorerMust have just missed you today.....LOL
I just dropped my old Lance today!
Can't wait to see pictures.
Congratulations!!! - brinsonExplorerPicked up the camper today, went pretty smooth. I was shocked by how little it squatted the truck. Drove 400 miles today and handled very well with 50 psi in the bags, I will play with pressures tomorrow.
- TiziExplorerCongrats, post up pics of the new rig!
