Not only weak axles but weak engine also. I've been waiting all my life for a diesel Jeep Wrangler that would at least get some decent fuel mileage (lifetime average on my Rubicon is 16.4 mpg) and have some low end torque, and had been reading that we'd see a diesel version this past fall. Didn't happen...just checked the Jeep build site and the only engine offered is the 3.6 V6. But at least they're finally offering an 8-speed automatic which I hear is pretty good...the 6 speed manual in my current Rubi sounds like it is about to fall apart.
