I just read some of these comments that I take to be addressing my comment about this dealership not negotiating much. Well as Paul Harvey use to say, here is the rest of the story:
They had a Camplite 8.6. They wanted 21K for it. Before I talked with them, I found a dealership in Florida offering a Camplite 10.0 for 3K less!! A bigger TC, same year, for less. I went to this dealer and offered to buy the 8.6 for 19.5K out-the-door. They said no way. I said that there is another dealership selling a larger unit for less in Florida. They said no way. So I drove to Florida and bought the larger 10.0 out-the-door including tiedowns, installation, a battery... for 19.5K. The trip costs me $400.
I would have loved to buy the local camper, but I am not a rich person who can throw away money.
