They had a Camplite 8.6. They wanted 21K for it. Before I talked with them, I found a dealership in Florida offering a Camplite 10.0 for 3K less!! A bigger TC, same year, for less. I went to this dealer and offered to buy the 8.6 for 19.5K out-the-door. They said no way. I said that there is another dealership selling a larger unit for less in Florida. They said no way. So I drove to Florida and bought the larger 10.0 out-the-door including tiedowns, installation, a battery... for 19.5K. The trip costs me $400.
I would have loved to buy the local camper, but I am not a rich person who can throw away money.
If you have to go back to a dealer for service, will you take it back to your local dealer where you didnt buy it and try to get the work done or will you drive back down to Florida?? Just curious
