But it was much more than $1500 - $400. The price was 21K, then I would have had to add the tiedown system, taxes, labor...
The 21K was their starting price, not the out-of-door price. I figure that including the trip to Florida, I saved somewhere around 2K AND I got a larger, more expensive TC.
I have actually been back to this dealership and purchased something from their RV supplies area.
About two weeks after getting back from Florida with our new Camplite 10.0, the sales lady at Bankston's did leave a message on our phone saying that they were looking back at some of their offers and decided to come-down some, and she wanted me to call her back. This was too late. I wanted to call her and tell her that they should have negotiated when I was there (you must understand, they did NO negotiating with me), but my wife said to let it go, so I did.
