This set up will work great!! It is plenty of truck for the camper as long as you have good E rated tires on it. As for gen set I had one on board in my caribou 10.5 and hated it so i never used it to much. It was loud and vibrated the camper. As for my experience with this camper I just sold my 98 Caribou 10.5' and had over 20,000 miles on it sitting in my silverado 2500 HD with Rancho 9000 shocks and tembrens.
