I am not qualified to comment on 1) and 3). However from my personal experience, LP gen sets are noisy and expensive to operate. They use LP like it is going out of style. Get a Honda EU2000i unit. It is quiet, lite weight, will provide all the power you will use and is very easy on gasoline.

I agree, just bought a 2016 Lance 1172 w/ propane gen and it's loud, consumes like crazy... Considering converting to gasoline or selling and buying a Honda.
