Well, first off, Welcome to the TC Forum Sasquatchgeof. Sounds like you are looking at something great for entry level. First off a truck with the 7.3 is something good. While it does not have a lot of H.P. or Tq and does not get as good as MPG, it is a solid motor. I don't have knowledge on this camper, but there are a few people up your way that should be able to PM you or meet with you, especially one on this forum, south of Seattle.
As for the generator, an on board generator is the worst thing I got with my TC and I have often recommended those ordering a TC to for go that option. As suggested earlier, a Honda or Yamaha (be kind to others around you, you remember how it was tent camping) are quieter Gensets.
