Don't worry about the motor especially if u can work on them, I have a 1995 DRW 196000 mi southern truck body in great shape, no rust same as frame and I drive back and forth across the USA and Canada no problem not worried at all. I don't know why people say high miles when that motor was known as the million mile motor. As for MPG I get around 13.4 to the American gallon hand calculated but I do not drive over 2000 rpm. I have a honda 2000 and usually don't take it with me as I have 2 group 31 agm batteries and we travel more than sit, batts are always charged. As for weight check the weight at a scale if u r worried i'm about 250lbs over gross loaded but still 700 lbs under gross axle weight rear and 1000 on the front.
